Pure Icelandic Glacial
Filtered through lava
the cleanest water in the world

When I’m floating in water
all my pain goes away
when I look at water, I get happy
when I drink it, I heal.

Yet you still manage to make me
feel excluded
from your pure, clean, unspoiled waters.

As if my presence on this land
would somehow spoil it
like I apparently spoil - and do not belong to -
this nation
and this land that I call home.
